On 4th September 2022, we conducted a KNOWLEDGE WORKSHOP that became our first step forward for ground activities post the pandemic. The half day workshop was held on 4th September 2022 at the Koramangala Club.

We brought together senior nephrologists who shared very interesting insights on early management of disease, with few of them handling relevant topics for dialysis and post kidney transplant patients.

The nephrologists who supported this initiative are: Dr Siddini Vishwanath, Dr Arvind Canchi, Dr Anil BT, Dr Ram Prasad, Dr Mythri Sankar, Dr Pooja Prabhu, Dr Prashant Dheerendra, Dr Garima Aggarwal, Dr S Sudhakar, Dr Deepak Kumar with dietitian Dr Swathi Sreekanta.

The book, “Healthy Recipes for CKD” was officially released at this event under the hands of Mr Sundar, a senior Kannada Movie Star who hands over a copy to Dr Arvind Canchi.

Over 200 people from CKD early stages, Dialysis, Post Transplant and Caregivers attended.

After a resounding success at our Bangalore Workshop, our second Workshop Post Covid was held on 11th September 2022 at Ravindra Nathya Mandir, Mumbai.

Nephrologists who participated at the event were, Dr Bharat Shah, Dr Umesh Khanna, Dr Divya Bajpai, Dr Kalpana Mehta, Dr Amit Langote, Dr Aakash Shingada and Dr Shruti Tapiawala. Two dietitians, Dt. Zamarrud Patel and Dt. Apeksha Ekbote shared important dietary tips. Please watch the videos on our YouTube channel.

Over 300 people from CKD early stages, Dialysis, Post Transplant and Caregivers attended. Many “TRUE HERO” Awards were distributed.
