Learn ways to cope with the challenges of dialysis based on a new concept of patient care

Patients face a number of challenges while undergoing hemodialysis, which makes the entire treatment a painful and difficult procedure. Some patients show severe intolerance towards dialysis, causing them to even skip sessions, which leaves them weak and tired. For those who have other issues like diabetes, variations in blood pressure, muscle cramps, nausea, etc., dialysis can be a daunting experience. Dr. Suresh Sankar will introduce his concept of patient care where the scientific need for dialysis is balanced with patient acceptance. This session will help the patient community to seek new avenues that will enable them to cope with the challenges posed by dialysis.
