INTAS Biopharmaceuticals, in association with Fortis Hospitals, is organizing a webinar on organ donation – ‘Live Life… Pass it On!’. It will be an awareness program that will focus on organ donation and take a look at the journey so far as well as the road ahead. Through the webinar, the participants will look to sensitize people about organ donation and allay apprehensions about cadaveric and live organ donation.
The webinar will be moderated by Ms. Reeta Dhar. She has previously served in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Govt. of India) as a Health Education officer, and has done her Ph.D. in the area of organ donation and transplantation. Dr. Sanjeev Gulati, Organizing Chairman, Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj will participate and share his valuable insights on the topic of organ donation. Also in attendance, as a speaker, will be Mrs. Vasundhara Raghavan, the founder-CEO of Kidney Warriors Foundation, author of several books and a kidney donor herself. She will share her experience from a donor’s perspective. Her main thrust at the meeting will be to encourage people to sign up for organ donation and alleviating fears by showing opportunities to save innumerous lives.
