Know how to handle pregnancy with CKD

Chronic kidney disease in women can create severe issues as the disease progresses. Many women are advised to delay pregnancies during dialysis and even post transplant, stating their pregnancy to be at “high risk.” Why is pregnancy dangerous? How can issues due to CKD be managed efficiently with proper planning? Women have issues in their health care that can be addressed by a nephrologist. Dr Garima Aggarwal is trained at one of the premier institutes in India. As a nephrologist she has extensive expertise in the area of kidney diseases, renal transplants (including high risk transplants), dialysis (hemo and peritoneal) and critical care nephrology. She is an expert in management of Acute Kidney Injury patients on hemofiltration. Her work in different hospitals has gained her experience in management of acute and chronic kidney disease.
