With the World seeing a huge increase in chronic kidney disease, less resources to manage it, preventive measures took front stage so early measures to pick up and treat it became a possibility. The theme in 2022 was “Kidney Health for All”. Across the country we made our programmes that also helped to “Bridge Knowledge Gap to Better Kidney Care.”Our programmes centered around education and kidney health included prevention talks, organ donation concepts – in schools, colleges and corporate houses, talks in a hospital on how KWF helps kids. Protein supplements were gifted to dialysis patients as our on-going initiative. Patients, both dialysis and kidney transplant took to the street to walk and cycle to maintain kidney health.
